Join Dr. Timnit Kefela, PhD to hear how low-income communities of color are hit hardest by climate change and pollution. Specifically, disproportionate concentrations of microplastics are found in these communities, causing a cascade of negative social, economic, and public health consequences. We will explore the world of microplastics, exploring how in order to fight unjust pollution, we must change the systems that drive it.
